The objective of this Chinese/English publication is to report on progress and achievements in the development of a knowledge-based economy and the promotion of economic liberalization, internationalization, and institutionalization in Taiwan, meld Taiwan more quickly into the international community, and build up a competitive niche in the new global economic order. This Newsletter will serve as a bridge in explaining to the world the formulation and implementation of government policies.
